ADMISSIONSAs a learning community comprised of students, parents, faculty and our parish leadership team, we seek to continue the development of AACA as a premier learning environment for all of our students. To support students in reaching academic excellence, our instructional program uses the arts to create and enhance learning opportunities for students both in daily classroom instruction as well in special arts classes. Based on this philosophy, our goal is to build a diverse community of families who value an active faith life and demonstrate this through participation in parish life. We also seek parents with a strong commitment to the mission and culture of AACA.
All students who complete the admissions process are considered for enrollment. However, due to the number of applications we receive, we cannot guarantee enrollment to all who apply.Children applying to AACA for pre-kindergarten through kindergarten must meet the September 1st birthday cutoff to be considered for placement in those programs. Exceptions will not be made, even if the child has previously been enrolled in a school that has made an exception to the deadline.11/18/19 PLEASE NOTE: In response to the high demand of applicants, we will be accepting new students much earlier than in the past. Acceptance emails will be sent this week to those that have applied to date for next year and will continue on a rolling basis through February 1.ADMISSIONS PRIORITY
Students are given admission priority based on the following critieria:
- Returning Students
- Parishioners of St. Alphonsus
- All Other Applicants
Priority within each of these categories is given by application date and availability in that grade.APPLICATION DEADLINEApplications must be received by January 31, 2020 for the 2020-21 school year. Applications submitted by this date will be notified of acceptance by mid-February. Late applications will be accepted if there is an opening in the grade that the applicant is seeking.RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATIONParents of students currently enrolled in the school will be notified of the re-registration process conducted during the month of January.
