Grandparents are very special in children’s lives. At Alphonsus Academy, we recognize the importance of our heritage, our community, and relationships across generations. Below are a few ways grandparents are welcome to be an active part of our community.
SHARING YOUR TIME
We welcome special guests to visit our classrooms throughout the year and ask that you contact our Advancement Team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 773-348-4629 ext. 152 to arrange a visit to our campus and your grandchild's classroom. Read a book to your grandchild's class, share your special elementary school memories, have lunch with your grandchild, or just pop in to say hello - there are many ways for you to enjoy a special visit to AACA!
Each spring, we have an annual celebration of grandparents called A GRAND Day at AACA. The event begins with a beautiful Mass at St. Alphonsus Church and continues with an hour to visit your grandchild's classroom.

SHARING YOUR TALENT
Grandparents have special talents to share with our students! If you have a special interest in sharing one your many gifts with our students, please contact your grandchild's teacher to learn about opportunities to be involved in our student's learning experiences.
To contact your grandchild's teacher, please view our faculty directory, here.
SHARING YOUR TREASURE
Our school is blessed with contributions from many of our families, friends, alumni, and other supporters. Grandparents often inquire about how they might support our school with the gift of treasure.
